IOSH Managing Safely Refresher

Course Summary

This course aims to provide refresher training for delegates who have completed the IOSH Managing Safely certificate. The course provides delegates with awareness, knowledge and skills beyond those covered in the standard Managing Safely course. Furthermore, the course updates delegates’ knowledge in relation changes in, legislation, HSE guidance and British and other standards.

• Module 1 – managing safely
• Module 2 – reactive monitoring
• Module 3 – risk assessment and risk control
• Module 4 – health and safety legislation
• Module 5 – common hazards
• Module 6 – active monitoring
• Module 7 – safety management systems
• Module 8 – protecting your environment

Ways to Study

• Block Release – A structured classroom based course consisting of one full week block including revision and exams.
• In-Company – This programme can be delivered on site over a four or five day period and can be delivered flexibly to meet the needs of your organisation. For further information please contact the Integra team.

Teaching and Assessment

Delegates are continually assessed by tutors throughout the duration of the course in addition to a multiple choice written assessment and a practical project.

Entry Requirements

There are no set entry requirements for IOSH Managing Safely, although a good command of the English language is essential.

IOSH Managing Safely is a one day refresher course.
