This course is designed for all current or potential safety representatives within the waste industry. In order for the safety representatives to carry out their functions effectively they must receive suitable and sufficient training. This three day accredited course provides delegates with a full understanding of their duties and what they will need to know to be able to effectively fulfil them, whilst focusing specifically on the areas relating to the waste industry.

The assessment consists of a written examination and a practical workplace inspection. The 45 minute examination consists of multiple choice and short answer questions.
There are no set entry requirements for IOSH Safety for Safety Representatives in the Waste Industry, although a good command of the English language is essential.
