Designed specifically to raise awareness of individual responsibility for the environment within the workplace, this 1 day IOSH programme provides you with sufficient knowledge to meet approved standards and recognise the potential effects of actions on both local and wider environments.

Course Content

Module 1: Working with the Environment, awareness of the environmental issues related to the management of the organisation‚ activities.
Module 2: Protecting the Environment, identification of hazards to the environment arising from working practices.
This course can be tailored to suit the individual requirements of your company with the inclusion of a third module.

  • Course includes group exercises and individual assessments

Teaching and Assessment

There are two assessments for this course:

  • An environmental hazard identification project which is carried out as a pre-course preparation
  • Multi-choice assessment paper comprising of 25 questions

An IOSH Certificate is awarded to delegates who successfully complete the course.

There are no set entry requirements for this course although a good command of the English language is essential.
