Course Summary

The theory and practice of manual handling in the workplace is looked at closely in a course ideal for all individuals who are required to carry out manual handling tasks within their workplace. Practical competence is tested but a good understanding of the underpinning theory is also ensured using group activities, video and manual handling practice.

Teaching and Assessment
