The theory and practice of manual handling in the workplace are studied whilst covering the vital training and techniques required ensuring that delegates can not only train staff, but also risk assess and monitor the practice of manual handling within their organisation. The 3 or 4 day course also covers the manual handling risk assessment process in depth. Suitable for everyone required to deliver manual handling training and carry out manual handling risk assessments, this course combines both the theoretical and practical elements of manual handling using group activities, videos and manual handling practice to solve real life in-company problems.
This course comes complete with a Manual Handling Training pack. This contains a copy of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations Guidance document L23, a variety of useful handouts and a CD ROM PowerPoint presentation. There is also a PowerPoint presentation intended for delegates to use in their own organisation to deliver the Manual Handling Awareness course. Base slides are included allowing for other slides to be added containing specific company information.
This course combines group discussions and practical exercises. Candidates will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
There are no set entry requirements for this course although a good command of the English language is essential.
