The NEBOSH National Construction Certificate is a qualification for individuals working, or looking to work, within a construction environment and who have day-to-day responsibilities for providing advice on all issues relating to health, safety and welfare. The course provides you with a good understanding and basic knowledge of health and safety, whilst highlighting the implications your decisions can have.
The assessment consists of two written exam papers and a practical health and safety assessment of a workplace situation. The two written papers ( NGC 1 and NCC 1) each containing one 20 mark question and ten 8 mark questions, each paper is two hours long. Delegates undertaking the top up programme are only required to sit the NCC1 written examination and the practical assessment.
There are no set entry requirements for the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate, although a good command of the English language is essential.
Top Up (NCC Elements only) – Candidates must have previously completed either the NGC1 examination or Unit A of the NEBOSH Diploma within the last 5 years to be eligible for the full award. Individual unit awards maybe taken with no prior qualification.

Having gained the NEBOSH National Construction Certificate you are eligible for membership of the institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) – Tech IOSH and Associate Membership of the IIRSM.
