Course Summary

IOSH Managing Safely is ideal for anyone who requires a general overview of health and safety. It has been specifically designed for those required to manage safely and effectively, in compliance with both their organisations policy and best practice in health and safety.  Delegates will be able to review departmental safety systems, introduce new controls or implement changes as appropriate, whilst encouraging employees to appreciate safety requirements. An IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course is also available.

Ways to Study

  • Block Release – A structured classroom based course consisting of one full week block including revision and exams.

Teaching and Assessment

Delegates are continually assessed by tutors throughout the duration of the course in addition to a multiple choice written assessment and a practical project.

Entry Requirements

There are no set entry requirements for IOSH Managing Safely, although a good command of the English language is essential.

Course Duration

IOSH Managing Safely can be delivered over a 4 or 5 day period depending upon project requirements (the 5 day programme encompasses the project within the course delivery). Should you wish to deliver the programme in your organisation the duration and delivery can be structured to meet your requirements.
