Integra Training and Consulting

Course Summary

Recent Legislation applied to the Construction Industry, as well as Best Practice, drive organisations to consider environmental management and legislative compliance more seriously and more competitively than ever.  Equally important for businesses is the safeguarding of their reputation which can be damaged by fines and prosecutions.   The course explains the basic requirements of the Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP) Legislation and how it applies to Construction projects or to the company in concern.  Further it provides an opportunity to apply these requirements in an interactive way thus gaining a good understanding of the systems and procedures that are in place within an organisation or should be in place to enable regulatory compliance. Examples from negative press and EA’s “name and shame” campaign are also provided in this course.
